CIREX is one of the largest lost wax foundries in the world and specialises in the production of steel investment castings. CIREX has operations in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. The foundry in the Netherlands is the larger of the two and has a melting capacity of 4.000 tonnes of steel per year. Due to a fully automated process, our Dutch location is perfectly suited for large series of investment castings, where a high-level quality is being guaranteed. The Czech foundry specialises in producing smaller series of lost wax investment castings in steel and uses similar operating processes as the Dutch foundry. The flexibility of our production is most important and comes first. This allows the foundry to perform especially well when it comes to casting complex castings against market prices. In total, the Czech foundry owns four semi-automated casting installations with a total melt capacity of 1.000 tonnes per year.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]


This Czech facility finishes the castings from both foundries according to product specifications. This includes blasting, sanding or machining the castings by means of drilling, tapping and milling. Due to the fact that CIREX owns a modern, specialised finishing department, components produced by CIREX can be delivered ready-to-install. At our Czech facility we can perform the following process steps:

  • Heat- and surface treatments
  • Calibrating & Machining
  • Assembly of subcomponents

CIREX castings are applied in the automotive and aeroplane industry, pharmaceutical and food industry, process technology and machine construction all over the world. Renowned manufacturers use castings that have been cast in the CIREX foundries.
